Online Worship Services (NEW)
Sunday Morning Service (9am)
Aitkenvale has just launched an On-Line Streaming Service for it’s Services of Worship. While initially in response to the COVID-19 Crisis, this initiative allows members who are unwell, out of town, or unable to attend face-face church services, to still view and actively participate.
Simply go to our Online Church Page to see the list of upcoming Services and Events – and then watch them simply and easily at the set times.
After the service, you are invited to our church fellowship page to catch up with any other of our church members for a catch-up – just like meeting over morning tea. AUC9amChurch Fellowship
If you miss the initial streaming of the service, a recording will be available on our website at our Recorded Services page
Open House Live Streaming Service (4.30pm):
If you prefer to be able to actively participate in worship, then this is the service for you. It will operate using software called Jitsi. To join in on your smartphone or tablet, you will need an app. The first time you go to join a meeting, you will be asked to install the App, but it is quick and very easy. The link is:
Links are included in the events in our calendar below.
Good Shepherd Home. Second Monday of the month at 11.00am. Residents from the Hostel share in this service, along with a team of volunteers from our congregation who help residents get to and from the chapel. Each service goes for around 30 minutes with popular hymns and songs of praise, a short Bible based devotion and Holy Communion.
Go Group. This is a very relaxed and friendly group of seniors that meet on the third Wednesday of each month at 10am. Activities include visits to parks and gardens, guest speakers and indoor games.
Orana Fellowship. Each month this group of ladies meet to have some fun and fellowship. This is an informal social gathering that varies each month and may include a night out for dinner, or input sessions at some venue in town.
