Aid agencies begin to axe programs

[dropcap]A[/dropcap]ustralian aid agencies have begun the first wave of cuts to overseas projects as they feel the effects of the federal budget reductions. Plan Australia and World Vision have settled on more than a dozen projects, worth around $6.5 million between them. World Vision estimates up to 1.31 million people will miss out on services as a result.

This is a critical time to stand up for Australian Aid. Join over 40 000 everyday Australians in the campaign supported by UnitingWorldAct for Peace and Micah Challenge.
